Your app needs a little buddy.
An animated, lightweight mascot that lives in your interface: welcome, loading, success… One line to add it, a few lines to wire it into your app.

★ full pack · the rest is in the free version
Lightweight: 55 KB compressed (79 for the full pack), zero dependencies. Web (HTML, React, Vue, Svelte…): the JS engine. Mobile (iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native): the Rive files.
You wire it into your app.
A simple, documented API: one state for each moment of your app, in a few lines. Rather hand it off? The included prompt guides your coding assistant.
- Download
The free version, no account needed. The full pack is coming soon.
- Wire the states
Loading during a request, success after a save. Or hand it to your coding assistant with the prompt.
- It lives in your app
Loading, forms, errors, empty lists: the right reaction, in your brand colors.
Add the Uko mascot to my app. Read the pack’s README.en.md first. Place the mascot where it belongs. Wire its states to my app: loading during requests, success after a save, error on an invalid form, empty on an empty list. Use my brand colors. Don’t modify the engine: only use its API, and follow what the README says about the free version.
Full version, in English, French and Spanish: AI-PROMPT.md, in the download (free version included).
Real example: SubFlow
A subscription tracking app, filmed as it is: with the free version, then with the full pack.
One mascot in the header, one in the form. Empty list, adding, invalid amount, payment due today: each moment has its state, in one line of code.
It sits on the empty list’s button, climbs onto the form, follows the typing and hops back home. SubFlow lets it roam the whole app on its own: that’s SubFlow’s choice. In your app, each move is one line, wherever you decide. And if it sulks when poked too much, that’s the pack’s soul.
Filmed in the real app, not animated by hand.
A mascot for every moment.
Scroll through, then tap or click a card to change the hairstyle, colors and state, and copy the code.

Questions
Does it work right away?
Yes: one tag for the web, one .riv file for mobile, and the states work as they are. You write reactions specific to your app with the documented API, or hand them to your coding assistant with the included prompt. Movements are in the full pack: one line makes it climb onto a form or sit on a card, wherever you decide.
What is free, and what is in the full pack?
The free version has Uko, Aituko and Meowuko, 3 hairstyles for Uko (three hairs, classic, shaved head) and all 9 states in the web engine, with any colors; their Rive files have 4 states. The full pack adds the soul (reactions that depend on where it’s touched, the moment and its mood), the movements (sitting, leaning, lying down, dancing, floating, hopping, climbing, walking), speech, eyes that follow the page, 14 more hairstyles and Rive files for all 3 characters with the 9 states. Moving from one to the other means replacing the files: your code does not change.
I can animate it myself: why the pack?
With the API, you (or your coding assistant) can easily wire the states to your app and write reactions of your own. What a few lines cannot do: draw new hairstyles in the same style, animate a whole body that sits, dances or climbs without breaking its skeleton, and produce Rive files with their state machine for mobile. That is what the pack contains.
When does the full pack come out?
Soon. Click “I’m interested”: if you leave your email, you get a single message when it comes out, with the launch price.
Will it make my app heavier?
Very little: the free web engine weighs 55 KB compressed, each Rive file about 74 KB (plus your platform’s Rive runtime). No video, no GIF: on a modest phone the frame rate adapts by itself, and off screen the mascot barely redraws.
Can I use it in a commercial app?
Yes, even with the free version, in as many projects as you like. The details are in the license (FR).
